Jolissa Johnson holds a bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from NIcholls State University. Her clinical focus is focused on treatment for trauma, grief and loss.  However, she prides herself on being able to provide treatment to a wide variety of clients.

 

Jolissa enjoys working with others to improve their quality of life through a cognitive behavioral therapeutic process. Jolissa believes that trust, empathy, honesty, encouragement, and determination, are all important elements of a healthy and beneficial counseling relationship.
